Making the decision to move or choosing a community care facility is a serious decision. To help ensure that whatever decisions you make is the best for you, the Perrin’s Marina Villa has provided answers to some of our frequently asked questions.
#1. What are visiting hours at the Villa?
There are no set visiting hours, visitors are welcome from 8am until bedtime. We ask you to respect the resident’s heath and if the person that you are visiting appears tired that you shorten your visit. You are welcome to return at your convenience.
#2. Can anyone visit?
Yes, anyone can visit as long as they are someone that the resident wishes to have as a visitor, we are careful to respect the resident’s wishes.
#3. What do we do about financial matters?
We will gladly assist you or we can give you the information on whom you may contact with regards to financial matters.
#4. What is there for the resident to do during the day?
We have a well planned activity schedule from Monday to Friday, as well as events on special occasions, such as Canada Day, Mothers Day, etc. Monthly birthdays are celebrated the last Friday of the month. The resident is also recognized the day of their birthday, see activity schedule.
#5. Are meals available for those with special diets?
Yes, our Red Seal Chef can prepare a diet that is recommended by your doctor
#6. Can I stay for a meal with my family member?
Yes, for a nominal fee and at least two hours notice you may have a meal with your family member in our dining room.
